Tara Ebrahimpour
Tara Ebrahimpour San Jose State University, Psychology

Tara Ebrahimpour spent three years as a CSM student and graduated in May 2019 with an AA-T in psychology. While at CSM, Tara worked at the bookstore/coffee shop and was very involved on campus, including participating in many clubs. During her last year at CSM, Tara was the treasurer of the Psychology Club and Inter Club Council rep for the Psychology and Active Minds club, a member of the ASCSM Cultural Awareness Board, and vice chair of the ASCSM Programming Board.

Through all of her involvement in student organizations, Tara improved her leadership skills, strengthened her interpersonal skills, and learned how to connect with her peers on a deeper level. Tara is now in her second semester at SJSU where she hopes to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. After graduation she hopes to go on to graduate school and earn a master's in psychology. Her ultimate goal is to become a therapist and to eventually open her own private practice where she can help adults tackle their mental health problems.
